JKIS2016 Wk22 – The Human Form

JKIS TM

My website has not been letting me upload photos, so there has been a gap in the weekly prompts for which I apologize. If you want all the prompts from previous weeks, please join my Facebook group or follow my Facebook page.
JKIS2016 Wk22 – The Human Form (lesson by Claudia Ybarra Rossi)
This week we finish up our month of working with the human form. I was a little unsure how I would like the very dark background I wanted to create, but I really like the way the mostly black and white page makes the magenta of her shirt pop and causes the eye to really focus on the subject even though she’s small in relation to the size of the entire page. There is also a bonus video showing a second page I created using a paint-over-collage technique…hope you like.
If you haven’t signed up for JKIS yet, it’s not to late to join in on all the fun and great instruction we have in store for you this year!
